Before understanding the difference between these two terms let us first differentiate Court Marriage and Court Registration
You want to apply for marriage.(Not married yet)
For this,you can apply in sub registrar office of boy's residence address or girl's residence address .Once you make application by visiting with all documents then a notice is issued for 30 days and after that period marriage is registered.

The registration can be done in 1 day also but depends on sub registrar availability and his own descrition

Court Marriage
When you want to marry other person but without rituals.Only in the documents way then you go for court Marriage.You want to apply for marriage.(Not married yet)
