1.What are the Documents required for Marriage?
Age proof (10th class certificate/Birth Certificate/Passport)
Address proof (Voter id/Aadhar Card/Passport/Driving Licence/Ration card/Bank Passbook)
6 Photos (Passport Size)
4 Witnesses with their Id proof
2 Affidavits (Guidance provided on this)

2.Who Can be the witness?
Witness can be any friend or relative whose age is above 21 years.Also,witness can be from any side,boy side or girl side.

4.What is Affidavit?
Affidavit is a kind of your statement in which you declare that the information submitted by you is correct.Also you declare following Important things:-
1.You are major
2.You are getting married without any force/pressure.It is your will.
3.You dont support in Dowry and not taking/giving any dowry in any form such as cash,jewellery etc.
This can be prepared by any lawyer on Rs20 stamp paper and notarised it.

5.Importance of Affidavit?
Affidavit helps you to protect yourself incase inybody makes illegal claims against you.If anybody files case against you that you taken dowry or forced someone for marriage then you are protected by this.So,make it sure that you have read the affidavit carefully before submitting it to Arya Samaj.


3.We are not resident of Hyderabad,can we get married in Arya Samaj Hyderabad?
Yes,You can get married in Hyderabad.If you have valid resident proof of India then you can get married in any arya samaj of India.(Some arya samaj branches has restriction).Some people say that if you dont have proof of hyderabad then extra money will be taken ,but truely speaking this is just making fool of people.Please beware of these kind of people.

4.How Many days before we need to apply?
You can book 4 hours before also but if booking is available then only it will be provided to you.If we have already some booking then priorty will be given on first come first serve basis.
We recommend you to book as soon as your date is finalised so that we can provide you the best facility from arya samaj side.


5.Which Arya Samaj Branch is nearest to me where I can get married?
Very frankly speaking there are about 20-25 branches of Arya samaj in Hyderabad.But,please understand certain things very carefully.
1.Many branches are not organising love marriage and not issuing marriage certificate because they are not legally authorised for this.
2.Every branch has different rules,like some branches does not organise marriage if booking is not done atleast 7 days before.
3.Some branches does not organise mariage if parents are not attending marriage ceremony.
Because of the above reasons,there are very few Arya Samaj in Hyderabad which organise/Support Love Marriage.

Please note that there are some other branches in Hyderabad where manual booking is done,but we cant guide you in that concern.

6.What is the Cost for Marriage?
Arya samaj is a social organisation founded by Swami Dayanand Saraswati in 1875.We support Intercaste Marriage because we believe intercaste marriage can break the wall in the society which is dividing people on basis of caste.
Arya Samaj organise free of cost marriage to poor people who can not afford money also,but certain formalities need to be completed for that. Every branch has different charges for marriage which will be intimated to you once your branch is finalised.
Charges vary from Rs 6000 to 9000 depending on the branch.
Point to be noticed is that whatever charges are said, we take that amount only and no other amount is taken.There are some people/agents who say less amount and when you reach the branch then ask for more money, else refuse for marriage.We request you to please be cautious about this.

8.Is Arya Samaj Marriage Certificate is Legal?It can protect us or not?
Arya samaj certificate is legal under LAW- arya marriage validation act 1937.If you have got married in Legal Arya Samaj and you have valid certificate of that then you are legally married.Also,this certificate helps you to protect your rights under constitution and various marriage acts.Police protection can also be taken on this certificate behalf.
